None of our board members have any family/relatives attending Dinsmore Elementary. We are dedicated to helping all students succeed.
Linda Brunson, President

Attending K-5 at Dinsmore Elementary set Linda on a path to a good education – leading to a college degree and a CPA license. In 3rd grade, her parents told her she was “on her own” as they could no longer answer her homework questions. Linda established Know & Grow as she kept in contact with the community and believed there were a lot of kids who are “on their own.” Now that Linda is retired, she has time to give back.
Shalane N. Peterson

Our current school principal, Ms. Peterson, brings energy, passion, know-how and belief in education to Dinsmore Elementary. Ms. Peterson has been an educator for 16 years and an administrator for 11 years. Her bachelor’s degree is in Early Childhood Education and she holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
Roger Mann, Treasurer

Roger attended Dinsmore Elementary and has remained in the community for the subsequent 50+ years. Roger began working with the City of Jacksonville as a small engine repairman and rose to the rank of Public Works Superintendent of Highways. He is now retired and has plenty of time to devote to his former alma mater.
