Thanks to a grant by the William & Helen Thomas Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee, all kindergarteners can now get a handle on math, literally!
The ten-frame answer boards enable children to think of numbers in terms of their relationship to ten. Mental addition/subtraction calculations become more automatic. For example, “There’s eight because two are missing.”
These ten-frame answer boards match the gigantic ten frame dry erase boards already in use.
Children love hands-on learning. These answer boards will inspire and improve math learning of our kindergarteners for years to come.
