Over the summer, highschoolers volunteered 427 hours helping us prepare for this school year.
They put together new literacy materials, including UFLI word trays and decodable notebooks. They cleaned and organized existing teaching tools: they replaced batteries in etch-a-sketches, cleaned and counted bags of geo shapes, cleaned and prepped the iPads for screen protector replacements, and much more. All these volunteer hours were much appreciated!
We have plenty of volunteer opportunities and you don’t have to be a student to volunteer!
