More than 10,000 assignments have been completed by kindergarteners and first graders in our after-school program! And, the school year is not quite half over!
In addition to in-school tutoring, the young students take iPads home to complete Khan Academy Kids lessons that have been assigned to them. The iPads have cellular internet and, therefore, can be used in homes without Wi-Fi.
The assignments are made by Know & Grow. Each child is on an individualized tutoring path, as directed by his/her teacher.
After assignments are complete, the child can explore Khan Academy Kids on their own. The kids often draw and select their own learning lessons.
