Sight Word Pads Delivered

We’ve delivered 2,970 kindergarten Sight Word Pads!  Requested by teachers, the 30 different Sight Word Pads align directly with the classroom curriculum.  A new pad is introduced each week.  Each pad contains the newest words the children are expected to learn and know “by sight” (i.e., not sounded out).  A few sentences show how the

Teen Power

We now have a program to bring Teen Power to all grade levels.  High schoolers needing hours can volunteer: on early release days, on teacher planning/in-service days, for virtual online projects, and for projects to be done at home. Our summer teen volunteer program will continue at both the Southeast Public Library and the school.

Summer with Kodi & Friends

Eligibility for our 2024 Summer Learning Program is celebrated with this new certificate.  When a child completes our kindergarten tutoring program, the soon-to-be first-grader is eligible to take an iPad home over the summer. Rewarding Successes
